Harish Khare is a former Media Advisor of the Indian Prime Minister who remained in Prime Minister's Office from June 2009 to January 2012. On 19 January 2012 he resigned from his post.[1] Khare has worked as Resident Editor and chief of bureau with The Hindu in New Delhi, India.[2] On 14 November 2012, he was awarded the Jawarharlal Nehru Fellowship for his project "Governing India in the 21st Century: Reinventing Nehruvian Executive Leadership Mode."[3] He was the Editor-in-Chief of the Tribune Group of publications from on 1 June 2015[4] until 15 March 2018.[5]
Khare is married to the social worker Renana Jhabvala.[citation needed]
