Harpur Kalan is a small village located in Majorganj Block of Sitamarhi district, Bihar with a total of 1269 families residing.[1] The Harpur Kalan village has population of 5510 of which 2990 are males while 2520 are females as per Population Census 2011.[2] In Harpur Kalan village population of children with age 0-6 is 1027 which makes up 18.64% of total population of village.
