Hassan Amin (Dari: حسن امين, born 12 October 1991) is an Afghan footballer who plays for SV Meppen as a defender.

Club career

Born in Darmstadt, Amin began his career in the youth of Darmstadt 98.

He made a free transfer to Eintracht Frankfurt II where he played for three season making 64 appearances and scoring 3 goals.

In 2014, he joined 1. FC Saarbrücken on a free transfer. He ended the season with 18 matches.

In June 2016, signed for SV Waldhof Mannheim.

International career

He was selected by the national team of Afghanistan for the 2014 AFC Challenge Cup. He then played for the World Cup qualification matches. After some matches he became a key player for the national team. With his speed and football knowledge he was a constant threat to other teams. In a 2019 AFC Asian Cup qualifier, Amin scored a screamer on the 70th minute against Vietnam. He was the Captain of Afghanistan in that match.
