rewrite needed?[edit]

parts of this page are nearly unintelligible (for example the section called "Unlinked date"); it also seems to make no mention of the fact that linking dates for autoformatting is now deprecated per Wikipedia:MOSNUM#Linking_of_dates Sssoul (talk) 13:08, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

This page should not be edited, it is a copy of m:Help:Date formatting and linking, that is the page to update. MBisanz talk 15:42, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
Perhaps this page should be edited to reflect the fact that date linking is out of favour on Wikipedia. JIMp talk·cont 15:00, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
