Heron Island is a small island of the Saint Lawrence River at the Lachine rapids, and part of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is one of "Saint-Laurent, Vision 2000" 37 protected sites. Although privately owned by "Conservation Nature Canada", they have agreed to manage it as a protected reserve.

It has a quite a rare array of birds, trees and flowers.
