Heydar Asadov

Heydar Asadov (Azerbaijani: Heydər Əsədov; 25 October 1928) is a Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, owner of 2nd grade order "For the Service to Motherland". He was born on October 24, 1959.[1]

Education

In the year of 1978, Heydar Asadov was graduated from Accounting faculty of Baku Soviet Trade Technical School and in 1983 graduated from accounting-economy faculty of Azerbaijan National Economy Institute named after Dadash Bunyadzade. In 1987 he defended a candidate's dissertation at Moscow State University named after Mikhail Lomonosov and awarded an academic degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences.[2]

Heydar Asadov became a doctoral candidate of Marmara University of Turkey Republic between 1992 and 1995.[3]

Career

He worked as a worker, accountant, senior accountant and senior inspector during 1978–1984 while he studied in the institute. During 1983–1992 he worked as an instructor and chief instructor at Azerbaijan State Institute of Economy (present Azerbaijan State University of Economics). In the year of 1995 he was appointed as a Deputy Minister of Finance by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. During 1996–2007 he worked as General Director of State Treasury Agency under the Ministry of Finance and Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan. On April 17, 2007 he was appointed as a Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts by the resolution of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan Republic. According to the Decree dated October 22, 2013 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan he was appointed as the Minister of Agriculture.[4]

He is an author of 3 monographs and over 30 scientific works.[5]

Awards

He was awarded with the 2nd grade order "For the Service to Motherland" by the Order № 1809 dated October 31, 2011 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for his special services in the activity of Chamber and with regard to the 10-year anniversary of the formation of the Chamber of Accounts of Azerbaijan Republic.[6]

Personal life

He is married and has three children.[7]
