Hindusthan Institute of Technology (HITEC) founded by HECT (Hindustan Educational Charitable Trust) is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. The college is located in Othakkalmandapam nearly 20 km from Coimbatore. The institute was awarded as International Organization for Standardization 9001 certificated institutions. It offers 4 year B.E B.Tech Engineering Course in the department of Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electronic and communication engineering, Information Technology, Automobile Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
