Honkers are friendly monsters from the children's television program, Sesame Street.

Bio

These creatures have horns instead of ears and their noses are bulbs that can be pressed so that a "honking" sound comes out of the horns. They come in various colours and have appeared in the show since 1979. The Honkers were created for Sesame Street by writer and songwriter, Tony Geiss.[1]

Grandfather Honker is a dark bluish/purplish Honker with rather unkempt silver hair, a peachy-colored nose, and wire-rimmed glasses. He also has a furry moustache. He debuted in Episode 4067, and is possibly the first Honker to have a name.[citation needed]
