Horseshoe Council Bluffs is a hotel and casino located in Council Bluffs, Iowa near Omaha, Nebraska. It is owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment Corporation. It has 68,000 sq ft (6,300 m2) of gaming space, 1900 slot machines, 62 table games, a WSOP poker room and accommodations through Hilton Garden Inn, the local Country Inns & Suites, Holiday Inn Express and SpringHill Suites.[1]
The Horseshoe holds the World Series of Poker Circuit Event during August of each calendar year, and the Horseshoe Poker Championships (HPC) during February in each year in their poker room.
The Horseshoe was started by the Bluffs Run greyhound racing track, which operated from 1986 to 2015.[2]
