Humera Arshad (Punjabi, Template:Lang-ur) is a Pakistani pop singer from Lahore. She is a folk, pop, culture, and ghazal singer who has been classically trained. Her albums are Chori Kach Di and Gal Sun Dholna. Humera says she used to accompany her mother to majlis for soaz khwani from an early age. She trained under the tutelage of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan[citation needed] and has won numerous honors and awards for her musical achievements.[which?]

She started her career as an actress in PTV Home's tv series Ainak Wala Jin where she played the role of Toofani Nagan.

Personal life

She married Ahmed Butt in 2004. Their marriage frequently made headlines, both Humaira and Ahmed were publicly seen abusing each other, either verbally or physically. Despite all of the public conflicts they stayed married until 2015 when Humaira filled for a divorce.
