The Hyundai Unicorns Baseball Club (Korean현대 유니콘스 야구단) was a South Korean professional baseball team. They won the Korean Series in 1998, 2000, 2003 and 2004.

History

The team was founded in 1982 under the name Sammi Superstars. They were based in Incheon and were members of the Korea Baseball Organization. In 1988, the team was renamed to Taepyungyang Dolphins.

In 1996, Hyundai signed Taepyungyang Dolphins takeover deal, and as the consequence, the team was renamed to Hyundai Unicorns and relocated to Suwon in 2000.[1]

The team was dissolved in January 2008. After that, Centennial Investments signed Hyundai Unicorns's players and staff takeover deal and founded the Heroes Baseball Club.[2]
