The International School of Monaco is a primary and secondary school in Monaco, for foreign and Monegasque children. The school was founded in 1994, and offers a bi-lingual education in French and English. The bilingual educational curriculum attracts families that are internationally oriented and with resources to afford the tuition.
The school is located on Quai Antoine 1er in the center of Monaco. The youngest pupils are taught half in English and half in French. English takes precedence for older students.
Older students are offered at the end of Class 11 the University of Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examinations, following a two year course of study.
The International Baccalaureate Diploma examinations are offered at the end of Class 13, following a two year course of study.
The school has a new performing-arts centre for music, art, drama and gymnastics.
