Irek Faritovich Gimayev (Russian: Ирек Фаритович Гимаев,[1] born September 2, 1957 in Ufa, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union) is a retired ice hockey player who played in the Soviet Hockey League. He played for HC CSKA Moscow. He was inducted into the Russian and Soviet Hockey Hall of Fame in 1982. He is an ethnic Tatar.[2]

Honoured Master of Sport of the USSR.[3]
