Iwami Station(石見駅) is a train station on the Kintetsu Kashihara Line in Miyake, Shiki District, Nara Prefecture, Japan.

1  Kashihara Line for Tawaramoto, Yamato-Yagi and Kashiharajingu-mae
2  Kashihara Line for Hirahata, Yamato-Saidaiji, Kyoto, Tenri, Kintetsu Nara, Osaka Namba, Hanshin and Sannomiya

History

  • 1923 - The station opens when Osaka Electric Railway Co (Daiki) Unebi Line opens
  • 1941 - Daiki merges with Sankyu Kyuko Electric Railway and becomes a station of Kansai Kyuko Electric Railway
  • 1944 - Kankyu merges Nankai and becomes a station of Kintetsu
  • 2007 - Starts using PiTaPa
