Jai Jawaan Jai Kisaan ( Hindi: जय जवान जय किसान ) is Hindi movie which pays a tribute to the glorious life of Indian Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri.[1][2] "I am feeling excited to know that Doordarshan has decided to broadcast this movie on 22 January 2016, so please do not forget to watch the movie," Booker said.

Cast

Renowned theatre actor from Bhopal Akhilesh Jain[3] will essay the role of Lal Bahadur Shastri. While actors like Om Puri, Prem Chopra and Rati Agnihotri will be seen in strong roles of various political leaders. Actor Jatin Khurana also features in the film as Chandrashekar Azad, Ajit Khare as Lal Bahadur Shastri (age 14 to 21 years), Manoj Bhatt as Lal Bahadur Shastri young.

Production

The shoot of Jai Jawaan Jai Kisaan has begun in April 2013. The movie will be filmed at various locations of Allahabad, Mumbai and Delhi.[4]

Synopsis

Film ‘Jai Jawaan Jai Kisaan’ based on the life of Lal Bahadur Shashtri.[5] The film will be a tribute to India Second Prime Minister.

The movie is produced by Madan Lal Khurana, Seema Chakerverty, Pankaj Dua under the banner of Victorious Enterprises and directed by Milan Ajmera, production designer Bhupesh Salaskar and [Dhiraj Mishra]] has written the story and screenplay for the film. Honey Chaudhary is the line Producer of the film.

After Long time this movie album is complied with songs of patriotic and masti mood. The biggest highlight of the album is Saj Ke Chali Hai Bharat Maan sung by Javed Ali. Aman Trikha has sung Mere Desh Ka Javaab Nahi. Rupesh Girish is the composer of all the songs and Kishan Paliwal is the lyricist.
