Alderman James T. Thompson was the Mayor of Birkenhead.
During his time in office, he earned many presentation pieces, several of which were sold at the Bonhams, at Chester, on 4 September 2012. He was on the Honours list for the Lord Mayor title, but died the year he was supposed to have it.
