James Madison High School is a public high school, part of the San Diego City School District. Madison's 50 acre campus opened in 1962. Serving 1,500 students, grades 9-12, it is located north of I-8 and west of 1-805.

The Warhawks are Central League Champions in 2005,2007, and 2008. Went to the C.I.F Finals in 2008 against defending champion Valley Center lead by head coach Rick Jackson.
