James Alexander Stewart (born 15 December 1973) is a former Olympic-level rower, who competed for Australia at two Olympic Games, winning a medal on both occasions.[1]

He is the twin brother of Geoffrey Stewart and older brother of Stephen Stewart. They were the first trio of brothers to represent Australia in rowing at the same Olympics and were all educated at Newington College (1984-1991)[2] and coached by former Olympian and fellow Old Newingtonian Michael Morgan.
