Jaya Seal is an Indian actress who has acted in several Indian languages. She has appeared in over 15 films.[2][3]

Seal was born in Guwahati, India. She is a graduate of the National School of Drama. She is acclaimed in Assam for Bihu dance.[4]

Seal has acted in over 15 films and some TV commercials. She became popular with the TV series Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki. She acted in the film Prithibi Amake Chai.[5]

Seal met tabla player Bickram Ghosh on the sets of Hotath Neerar Jonnyo and married him in 2004.[1] Together, they have two children.[6]
