Jeff Nesset (born September 13, 1952 in Culbertson, Montana)[1] is a Republican Idaho State Representative since 2010 representing District 7 in the A seat.[2] He was previously the mayor of Lewiston, Idaho for 10 years.
Education
Nesset earned his bachelor's degree in business management from Montana State University.
Elections
- 2012 Redistricted to District 6, Nesset ran for its open senate seat, losing to Dan Johnson, who will face Democratic nominee John Bradbury in the November 6, 2012, general election.[3]
- 2010 Nesset was unopposed for the May 25, 2010, Republican primary, winning with 1,835 votes;[4] he won with 6,835 votes (54.6%) in the November 2, 2010, general election, defeating incumbent Democratic Representative Liz Chavez.[5]
