Jessy Hodges

Jessy Hodges is an American actress. She is best known as the role of Sophie Parker in the web series Anyone But Me.

Biography

Currently living in Los Angeles, California, Hodges originally comes from Huntington Woods, Michigan. She studied Drama at the Tisch School of the Arts, NYU. About her acting career, Hodges explains that she was very involved in theater at the early years of her life with a strong connection to her mother. Her mother Ellen Sandweiss went to school for theater and was an actress herself, too.[1] Hodges and her mother starred in the same movie together. She has appeared in several theatres, dramas, and films.

On her work in the critically acclaimed web series Anyone But Me, Hodges was nominated in the Breakthrough Performance category of Indie Soap Awards. The storyline pertinent to her character Sophie's sexual questioning was nominated for Best Storyline in the same year. Her other web video work includes appearing in several sketches by comedy duo BriTANicK, including their famous "Oscar Winning Movie Trailer".

In 2013, Hodges is featured in Chris Lowell's directorial debut Beside Still Waters.[2]

Hodges has also appeared in the seventh episode of Grey's Anatomy's season 9 as a guest star.[3]
