Fictional character biography

Joy Meachum was the daughter of Harold Meachum. She found Iron Fist guilty of her father's death, and then she tried to kill him.[1] She even went as far as to hire Steel Serpent to aid her in getting revenge.[2]

A crime boss known simply as Boss Morgan took Joy hostage because Rand Meachum Inc. was ruining his business.[3] Iron Fist rescued her, but in a last ditch effort for revenge asked Morgan to kill him. When Morgan refused, he did not want to be around when the ambulances arrived, she attempted to kill Iron Fist herself. When she couldn't bring herself to do it, she ended her feud with him.[4]

Since then Joy has helped Iron Fist and his allies on their numerous adventures.[volume & issue needed]
