Juan Uslé is a Spanish painter known for his use of color and abstraction.

Biography

Juan Uslé was born in Santander, Spain in 1954. He now lives and works in Saro (Cantabria) and New York City. He studied fine art at Escuela Superior de Belles Artes in San Carlos, Valencia from 1973 to 1977.

Uslé first exhibited in New York in 1989 at the Farideh Cadot Gallery. His paintings have been shown in galleries and museums since 1981.

He is represented by Cheim & Read in New York City, Gallery Thomas Schulte in Berlin, Frith Street Gallery in London and LA Louver gallery in Los Angeles.
