K. Suresh Kurup (born 25 May 1956) was a member of the 8th, 12th, 13th and 14th Lok Sabha of India. He represented the Kottayam constituency of Kerala and is a member of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI(M)) political party. He survived the Indira wave in 84' and then a debutant was the only person from CPI(M) to win from Kerala.

A popular leader, Kurup lost his seat in the 2009 Lok Sabha elections to Kerala Congress (Mani) candidate Jose K Mani. His loss was cited as a result of the bitter struggle between the Catholic Church and Nair Service Society on one hand and the Communist Party on the other. People also evaluated the developmental backwardness of Kottayam and that was also reflected in the 2009 elections.

He won the Ettumanoor Assembly Constituency for Kerala State Assembly Elections 2011 and 2016; which witnessed two of the closest-fought assembly elections.
