KLKC (1540 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a Classic Country format licensed to Parsons, Kansas, USA. It serves the Pittsburg area.
KLKC changed from a news/talk format to a classic country format on September 7, 2013, re-branding as "Katy Country" to tie to the city's history with the Missouri–Kansas–Texas Railroad.[1]
On January 1, 2016 KLKC changed their format from classic country to sports, with programming from Fox Sports Radio.
The station is currently owned by Wayne Gilmore and Greg Chalker, through licensee Parsons Media Group, LLC.
