General characteristics

The KRI Leuser is an Indonesian naval vessel of the Rakata class fleet tugs. "Leuser" name derived from Mount Leuser with its Leuser Ecosystem, the highest mountain in Aceh province.

Notable deployments

The Leuser was deployed to help look for the missing Adam Air Flight 574 in January 2007.[1][2]
