KVSO (1240 AM) is a radio station broadcasting an all-sports format. Licensed to Ardmore, Oklahoma, United States, the station is currently owned by Stephens Media Group, through licensee SMG-Ardmore, LLC, and features programming from Salem Communications.[2][3]

History

The station was founded in 1936. It was a charter member of the Oklahoma Network when it was formed in 1937.[4]

In the 1980s, it changed its calls to KKAJ, simulcasting KKAJ-FM's country format.

It regained its historic calls in 1995.[5]
