Oldies station KWCL in Oak Grove, Louisiana

KWCL-FM 96.7 FM is one of eleven radio stations in Louisiana airing an Oldies/Classic Hits format. It is licensed to Oak Grove in West Carroll Parish in the northeastern portion of the state. The outlet is owned by KWCL-FM Broadcasting Company, Inc.[1] It is owned and operated by Irene Robinson. Her husband, Ivy Robinson, owned the station from 1969 to 1980. Irene Robinson has owned KWCL-FM since 1990. Their daughter, Kelley Robinson Hendrix, is currently Chief Operator and Sales Manager. KWCL-FM covers all major sports in West Carroll Parish, including basketball, softball and baseball. It is known for its coverage of Oak Grove Tiger Football. KWCL-FM also has a morning talkshow, "The Mighty Mess", which covers a plethora of topics. It airs Monday through Friday from 8:05am to 8:30am CST. KWCL-FM has received numerous awards from the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters, including "Small Market Radio Station of the Year" six different times. It has also been named a finalist for the Marconi Award - an award presented for Excellence in Broadcasting - by the National Association of Broadcasters.
