Kallambella is the headquarters of one of the revenue circles, of the same name in Sira taluk of Tumkur district in Karnataka state.

Situated at a distance of 36 km north of Tumkur, off the National Highway 4, the place has a population of 4,500 persons(est.).

A large tank, supposed to have been built by 'Holampayya' is the main attraction of the place. This tank, acts as a reservoir for the Hemavathi waters, on their way to Sira tank.

Rice, Arecanut, Ragi and Groundnuts are the main crops grown here.
