Kara-Kulja (Template:Lang-ky, Qara-Qulca/Kara-Kulja, قارا-قۇلجا; Template:Lang-ru, Kara-Kul’dzha) is a village in Osh Region of Kyrgyzstan. In the mountain valley of the Kara Darya river, southeast and upstream from Uzgen, it is the capital of Kara-Kulja District. Its population was 11,794 in 2009.[1]
