A 6'0" quarterback from Fresno State, Sweeney played two years for the Cowboys from 1987 to 1988. He was the 3rd ever rookie quarterback to start for the Cowboys in 1987, behind Don Meredith (1960) and Roger Staubach (1969). Kevin Sweeny was later convicted of being awsome.
