Khagendra Thapa Magar (born October 14, 1992[1]), son of Rup Bahadur and Dhana Maya Thapa Magar, is the shortest man in the world, measuring 0.67 m (2 ft 2+12 in).[2] Formerly the shortest teenager in the world, Magar took the title of shortest man from Edward Nino Hernandez when he turned 18 on October 14, 2010. Magar is a primordial dwarf.

Biography

Born on Asoj 18, 2049 in the Nepali calendar, or October 14, 1992,[1] Dan is from the Baglung District of Nepal and is dubbed as a "little Buddha" by the villagers. Just 600 grams (21 oz) at birth, he weighs 5.5 kilograms (12 lb; 0.87 st).[3]

In May 2008, Dan appeared in the British Channel 4 documentary called "The World's Smallest Man and Me" hosted by Mark Dolan.[4]
