Kharga Malla was the twelfth king of the Mallabhum. He ruled from 841 to 862 CE.[1][2] Rajas of Mallabhum were also known as kings of Bagdis (Barga Kshatriya) all through the centuries.

History

Kharga Malla's name was lent to the city of Kharagpur after his army conquered it.[1][3]
