Klemens Murańka (born 31 August 1994 in Zakopane, Poland) is a Polish ski jumper, a member of the national team, medalist of the World Junior Championship, bronze medalist in team at World Championships 2015.

Personal life

On August 28, 2014 his fiancee gave a birth to their son Klemens Jr.

Career

Muranka has competed in Ski jumping World Cup qualifications in Zakopane,[1] placing 48th which was insufficient to qualify for competing in the World Cup event.[2] He has won many youth and junior competitions. He did also won both Fis-Cup competitions in Szczyrk 2010. Muranka has been competing on the FIS Ski jumping World Cup circuit in the 2011-12 season. He took third place with his team in the team jumping event at the World Cup held in Lahti.

2014/2015

Murańka debuted in the World Championships 2015 in Falun, Sweden. He was 17th on normal hill (K-90) and 20th in the competition on the large hill Lugnet (K-120). On February 28, 2015 Polish team in squad: Murańka, Piotr Żyła, Kamil Stoch and Jan Ziobro achieved bronze medal of World Championships 2015 in team.[3]
