Korati was the main spirit goddess of the Malayalee Hindus. She was worshipped in symbol format in North Malabar Tharavadus. The oracle for this spirit was called Koracca.

Koravvai of the old Tamil literature could be the same goddess.

Korati is also the name of a village near Hoskote town which is around 40 km from Bangalore City.
