Krasny Bor (Russian: Кра́сный Бор) is an urban locality (an urban-type settlement) in Tosnensky District of Leningrad Oblast, Russia. It is located Template:Km to mi southeast of Saint Petersburg. Population: 4,877 (2002 Census);[1] 5,791 (1989 Soviet census).[2]

The Battle of Krasny Bor took place here in 1943.

At Krasny Bor, there is a large facility for AM broadcasting, the Krasny Bor transmitter.

The rail station is named Popovka and, therefore, many locals refer to the settlement itself as Popovka.[citation needed]
