Kumdere is a village in the Tarsus district of Mersin Province, Turkey. At 37°05′N 34°59′E / 37.083°N 34.983°E it is situated in the southern slopes of the Toros Mountains and to the west It is situated to the west of Turkish state highway D.400. Its distance to Tarsus is 32 kilometres (20 mi) and to Mersin is 55 kilometres (34 mi).[1] Its population was 224 [2] as of 2012.
