L7 is the first album by the Los Angeles band L7 . Recorded in 1987 and released in 1988, the album demonstrates the band's punk rock origins, although there are traces of the heavier grunge sound that dominated their later work[4] .
L7 is the only L7 album without drummer Demetra Plakas .
