"La Diabla" is a song by Mexican American singer Xavi, who wrote it alongside Alex Hernández and Fabio Gutierrez, with its production being handled by Ernesto Fernandez. Released as a single on 30 November 2023, through Interscope, the song became the second of the singer's two breakthrough singles, the first being "La Víctima", after its virality on TikTok which lead up to its debut on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 76 and later peaking at number 22. It also peaked at number 3 on the Billboard Global 200 and had topped the US Hot Latin Songs and Mexico Songs charts, and would also be the first song by a solo Mexican artist to top Spotify's weekly Global chart and the fourth regional Mexican song to top the chart.[1][2]

Commerical performance

"La Diabla" debuted at number 76 on the Billboard Hot 100 on the issue dated 30 December 2023, rising to number 62 the week after.[3] In the song's fourth week on the chart, it would peak at number 22.[4] The song also peaked at number 3 on the Billboard Global 200 and number two on the Billboard Global Excl. US chart. In the US Hot Latin Songs chart, the song debuted at number 30 in the week ending on 16 December 2023,[5] and would top the chart two weeks later, dethroning "Monaco" by Bad Bunny.[6] In the Mexico Songs chart, the song debuted at number 22, eventually topping the chart in the week ending on 30 December 2023.[7] "La Diabla" would also reach the top five in several countries' charts.
