Langney Wanderers F.C. is an English football club based in the Langney district of Eastbourne, East Sussex.

History

Langney Wanderers were formed in 2010 and play at Shinewater Lane, the former ground of Shinewater Association.

Their first three seasons were spent playing Sunday League football. Wanderers then applied to the East Sussex Football League, gaining entry to the Premier Division for the 2012–13 season. Winning this league at the first attempt they joined the Sussex County League Division Three at the end of the season after meeting the necessary ground requirements.Cite error: The <ref> tag has too many names (see the help page). Langney also won this league at the first attempt but were unable to join Division Two due to not having floodlights.Cite error: The <ref> tag has too many names (see the help page). After finishing third in the Sussex County Football League Division Three in the 2014–15 season, the club was promoted to Division Two, at level 10 of the English football league system.[1]
