Lazarski University (formerly known as Higher School of Commerce and Law) (Polish: Uczelnia Łazarskiego) is a private university located in Warsaw, Poland. Founded in 1993, Lazarski University is one of the top ranking private universities in Poland.[1][2] The university offers bachelor, master of arts, master of science and master of law degrees in a variety of fields. It partners with Coventry University with four of its English-language programs, providing degrees to graduates from both universities.[3]

Rankings

In the 2015 edition of U-Multirank, Lazarski University was rated as the best university in Poland - having received "A" grades in 11 categories - more than any other Polish university. U-Multirank is a global ranking of universities created by a consortium led by the Center for Higher Education Policy Studies (CHEPS) in the Netherlands, and funded by the European Commission. Only 8% of all universities which participated in the 2015 edition of U-Multirank (over 1200) received "A" grades in more than 10 categories.[4]

In 2015, for the fifth time in a row,[5] Lazarski University was ranked number 1 for its Faculty of Law by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna'.[6] The Center for Academic Information ranked Lazarski University first among non-public universities as a Credible Educational Institution,[7] while in 2013, the Brief Magazine ranked the university as best for cooperation with business.[8] Lazarski University is currently one of the top four non-public Polish Universities according to Perspektywy and Rzeczpospolita magazine.[9]

Lazarski University has its own 20 000 sq. m stand-alone campus. The campus is situated four metro stops from the city center and offers various accommodation solutions for students. On campus there is a chapel, two cafeterias, as well as aboveground and underground parking lots.[10]
