Foley was the ninth head football coach at Marquette University located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and he held that position for the 1913 season. His coaching record at Marquette was 4 wins, 3 losses, and 1 tie. Since Marquette has discontinued its football program, this ranks him 13th at Marquette in total wins and ninth at Marquette in winning percentage (.563).[1]
