"Let Me Know" is a single by American recording artist Tamar Braxton featuring American rapper Future. The song was released on October 7, 2014.[1] Three months after the release, the song reached number 5 on the Urban AC Radio chart and number 10 on R&B/Hip Hop Airplay chart. The song samples "(At Your Best) You Are Love" by the late singer Aaliyah, which is an Isley Brothers cover.[2]
Music video
Tamar released a video for the single on her VEVO account.
In the opening of the video Tamar is laying in the bed with a blond wig on, and she then stand up holding spy classes while looking out the window. In the second scene she is wearing a glitter painted on outfit while laying in a black room with a light shining on her. In third scene she is in a room grinding on a wall. The final scene she is at big dinner table eating chocolate strawberries.
Future does not appear in the video.
Critical reception
Billboard.com gave the song 4 out of 5 stars in its review of "The Best and Worst Singles of the Week" for the second week of October.[3]
Commercial performance
"Let Me Know" reached the Urban R&B chart, peaking at number 9. This is Braxton's third R&B radio single to crack Top 10.
