List of Descendants characters

The following article is a list of characters appearing in Descendants, Descendants 2, Descendants 3, Descendants: Wicked World and the Descendants book series.

Descendants

Core Four

Mal

Mal (portrayed by Dove Cameron) is the daughter of Maleficent and Hades and Queen of both Auradon and the Isle. She's married to Ben, the son of Adam and Belle. Mal is the sister of Hadie. Mal is short for Maleficent. She is best friends with Evie.

Evie

Evie (portrayed by Sofia Carson) is the daughter of The Evil Queen. She is very good at cooking, sewing, making clothes, and fashion design. She is best friends with Mal, and owns her own fashion company Evie's Four Hearts.

Jay

Jay (portrayed by Nils Allen "BooBoo" Stewart Jr.) is the son of Jafar. He used to steal for his father's pawn shop. Now in Auradon he is Captain of the Tourney team and is dating Lonnie (daughter of Mulan).

Carlos

Carlos (portrayed by Cameron Boyce) is the son of Cruella de Vil. In "Descendants", he has an extreme fear of dogs, which is fixed with the help of Ben (Mitchell Hope). Carlos has a dog named Dude. Dating Jane (daughter of Fairy godmother)

Villain Kids

Uma

Uma (portrayed by China Anne McClain) is the daughter of Ursula. The leader of the pirates on the isle.

She and Mal are rivals. Mal's nickname for Uma was "Shrimpy". Originally introduced in "Descendants 2".

Harry

Harry Hook (portrayed by Thomas Doherty) is the middle child of Captain Hook. He is Uma's first mate and ex-boyfriend of Mal. In Descendants 3 he looks at Jane and says she looks ravishing and Carlos points out she’s taken

Gil

Gil (portrayed by Dylan Playfair) is the son of Gaston. He is part of Uma's crew. In Descendants 3 Gil, bonds with Jay. Will they became best mates?

Dizzy

Dizzy Tremaine (portrayed by Anna Cathcart) is the daughter of Drizella Tremaine, and works for her grandmother at Curl Up & Dye on Isle of the Lost. Her grandmother being the stepmother of Cinderella.

Celia

Celia Facilier (portrayed by Jadah Marie) is the daughter of Dr. Facilier. She tells fortunes and runs errands for Hades, Mal's father.

Squeaky & Squirmy

Squeaky & Squirmy (portrayed by Christian Convery and Luke Roessler) are the twin sons of Mr. Smee. They are new VKs introduced in Descendants 3.

Anthony

Anthony Tremaine is the son of Anastasia Tremaine.

CJ

CJ Hook is the youngest child of Captain Hook. She appears in the show Wicked World and is mentioned in "Rise of the Isle of the Lost". Harry's sister.

Diego

Diego de Vil is the son of Cecil B. De Vil. The cousin of Carlos and the nephew of Cruella de Vil.

Freddie

Freddie Facilier is the daughter of Dr. Facilier and the older sister of Celia.

Ginny

Ginny Gothel is the daughter of Mother Gothel.

Harriet

Harriet Hook is the eldest child of Captain Hook. She appears in the books "Isle of The Lost" and "Rise of the Isle of the Lost".

Hadie

Hadie is the son of Hades and the half-brother of Mal.

Maddy

Mad Maddy is the granddaughter of Madam Mim. She and Mal were best friends growing up.

Yzla

Yzla is the daughter of Yzma and the sister of Zevon.

Zevon

Zevon is the son of Yzma and the brother of Yzla.

Auradon Kids

Ruby

Ruby is the daughter of Rapunzel.

Ben

Ben is the son of King Beast & Queen Belle and the current king of Auradon. In Descendants 2, Ben along with Evie, Carlos & Jay ventures to the Isle of the Lost in hopes to find Mal and bring her back to Auradon, but to do that, Ben has to go undercover as a VK so he can infiltrate the isle without being detected. (portrayed by Mitchell Hope)

Audrey

Audrey is the daughter of Princess Aurora, Sleeping Beauty. Though she didn't make an appearance on Descendants 2, she is mentioned various times, especially by Chad Charming. In Descendants, she was mean to the villains especially Mal. (Portrayed by Sarah Jeffery)

Jane

Jane is the daughter of Fairy Godmother. (portrayed by Brenna D'Amico)

Lonnie

Lonnie is the daughter of Mulan. (Portrayed by Dianne Doan)

Jordan

Jordan is the daughter of the Genie. She has the powers of a Genie and possesses the magic lamp.

Ally

Ally is the daughter of Alice from Alice in Wonderland.

Doug

Doug is the son of the dwarf Dopey. (Portrayed by Zachary Gibson)

Chad

Chad is the son of Prince Charming and Cinderella. Chad is shown a lot playing with the 3D printer in Carlos's room, and he mentions Audrey a lot. (Portrayed by Jedidiah Goodacre)

Artie

Artie is the son of King Arthur.

Pin

Pin is the son of Pinocchio.

Aziz

Aziz is the son of Aladdin and Jasmine.
