Episodes
Series 1 (2007)
The BBC confirmed on 12 November 2006 that a 10 episodes series, lasting 30 minutes each would be transmit early 2007 on CBBC channel.[3] M.I. High was shown as part of the BBC's HD trial, available to viewers with HD services and was the first CBBC television program to be filmed and transmitted in High Definition.[3] John East Head of BBC Drama and producer of M.I. High said "Filmed in High Definition, a first for CBBC, with jaw dropping stunts and hi-tech wizardry, M.I. High brings the quality of Spooks to a children's drama."[3]
The main cast was confirmed as Bel Powley (as Daisy), Moustafa Chousein-Oglou (as Blane), Rachel Petladwala (as Rose) and Danny John-Jules (as Lenny).[3]

While undercover, she gets locked into a room and lasers her way out with a laser lipstick. Blane discovers some weird signals on his best friend Stewart's radio machine, and Rose follows the signal to the hideout of the Guinea Pig, a mutated scientist. Rose takes control of the Guinea Pig's machine and while stopping the start of World War Three, states to the public, as the prime minister that "Science is cool!" | ||||||

The BBC announced on 14 August 2007 that M.I High was commissioned for a second series.[15] The main cast returns from series one Bel Powley, Moustafa Chousein-Oglou, Rachel Petladwala and Danny John-Jules as Daisy, Blane, Rose and Lenny.[15]

They find that the robberies were all done by students (including Stewart Critchley), so Daisy and Blane interview the students; getting nowhere, Rose breaks into M.I.9 headquarters and speaks to Lenny (who is as confused as they are) about the raids. Reviewing the tape of Lenny stealing the diamonds, the team wonder how Lenny could jump far with his war wound. Rose calculates the body movement and concludes it was an ex-M.I.9 agent, Charlie Chuckworth (Lenny's old friend). Blane, Daisy and Rose go to Chuckworth's last known address and discover that Chuckworth (and his nephew, Lewis) are behind the robberies with a plasma face-changing machine. | ||||||

Series 3 (2009)
A third series was confirmed by the BBC 6 February 2008, with 13 episodes each lasting 30 minutes in length to transmit in 2009.[30] It was confirmed that Rachel Petladwala would return as her character Rose, with new actor's Charlene Osuagwu (as Carrie), Ben Kerfoot (as Oscar) and Jonny Freeman (as Frank London) would replace Bel Powley, Moustafa Chousein-Oglou and Danny John-Jules.[31]

High team must discover where the attacks are going to strike next, and whether The Mole is behind the attacks, or if there is a copycat. Rose has been accepted into the National Academy of Brilliance, but she is devastated; she has to leave M.I. High for good! When Rose gets to her new school, she is shocked to find that everyone (except the headmaster, Dr Vince) is stupid. Vince is sucking knowledge out of the children with his mind-sucker machine; this leaves Rose an idiot, leaving Oscar and Carrie to stop Vince without their brain-box.[47] | ||||||

Scientist Katrina Houseman has asked the team to look for the top secret Project N80. Project N80 is a real life Neanderthal that has broken out of his cage. The country's power supply is being sucked dry by an evil villain, and the only thing to stop it is an invention by Raymond Stilt called the glove. At St. Hope's, an eco-friendly expert comes to the school to explain about saving the environment, but the team thinks that she is the one stealing all the power. The eco-friendly expert uses special perfume she has to make boys like her, which puts Frank under her spell. The country's power levels are at a dangerous minimum and the team must help Raymond finish The Glove before it is too late.[52] | ||||||

Carrie faces a big problem. She must put her friendship with Boldovian gymnast, Lena Larsson, on the line. She's coming to compete in an international gymnastics tournament at St. Hope's. After tricking the country into thinking that all white rabbits are prone to a new virus, the team briefly captures The Grand Master before he escapes, but he leaves Flopsy behind! Pirates have been raiding numerous trade ships, stealing components to make a nuclear warhead. The team is tasked with protecting a ship with the final component for the warhead, but when they are captured, Frank finds out the Octopus is really his cousin, who was said to be lost at sea years ago. |
Series 5 (2011)
The BBC confirmed on 10 October 2009 that M.I. High would return for a fifth series,[74] It was confirmed that Rachel Petladwala, Charlene Osuagwu and Ben Kerfoot return as Rose, Carrie and Oscar.[74] Additionally starring Julian Bleach as the Grand Master and Tracy-Ann Oberman as the Grand Mistress.[74]

Series 6 (2013)
After a 16-month break, M.I. High was renewed for a sixth series in early 2013. The first broadcast of the show was aired on the CBBC channel on Monday 7 January 2013. Jonny Freeman was still playing his part as Frank London, the school caretaker and the head of the M.I. High project but was joined by four new characters: Zoe (Natasha Watson), Aniesha Jones (Oyiza Momoh), Dan Morgan (Sam Strike) and Tom Tupper (Oscar Jacques).[86] The M.I. High project has been moved to a new school called Bleakwood Academy but in the first episode it is later renamed as Saint Heart's.[87][88] However, in series 7 episode 2 St Hearts celebrates its centenary, suggesting that the year before they restored its previous name. With the character of Rose (Rachel Petladwala) leaving at the end of series 5, Mr. Flatley (Chris Stanton) is now the only character to appear in all of the series as the Headmaster of both schools that hosted the M.I. High project.

Series 7 (2014)
A seventh series was confirmed in 2013 with filming beginning in the summer of that same year. The series premiered on CBBC on 13 January 2014. Nathan Cockerill is contributing scripts,[102] and previous writers Malcolm McGonigle and Jonny Kurzman have also contributed one and two scripts respectively.[103][104] The series is produced by Eric Coulter.[104] The CBBC trailer confirmed the return of It confirmed the appearance of agents Tom Tupper, Dan Morgan,and (former) Zoe does not appear in series 7 but one of her sisters Keri does instead, Aneisha Jones, Frank and Stella; and the student/staff appearances of Mr. Flatley, Mrs. King, Roly, and two new students, Preston[105] and Lady J. Byron.[106]

Meanwhile at St Heart's, Mrs King is shocked when she receives a letter informing her that a student has complained to the Education Minister about her. The MI High team have set up their own agency after being fired from M.I.9. After many unsatisfying missions and almost quitting the job completely, they get the call they've been waiting for. Edward Lambsbottom, a senior technician at GDHQ (the government's secret listening station), has intercepted a conversation with the Crime Minister. She was discussing KORTEX and that KORPS are planning to assassinate the Deputy Prime Minister. He tried getting this information to M.I.9 but saw his new boss, Martin Strong, destroying evidence. The MI High team take this information to Frank, who still has a job at M.I.9, to try and figure out what's going on.

The team, Frank, and Stella have gone into hiding as M.I.9 has been taken over by KORPS. As KORPS' plans are nearing completion, the team must act fast. Frank tells them about 'The Heart', a rumoured super computer that controls all of KORPS' networks. They plan to destroy it but the only problem is that it is located at KORPS Central HQ which has never been found. Tom comes up with an idea and the group break back into their base under St. Heart's. Tom reveals that he made a gadget that contains a microchip that holds an anti-virus before they were fired, it will make Keri reject The Mastermind's consciousness if KORPS try to transfer it. It also contains a tracking device, so if Keri gives herself up, KORPS will take her to their HQ, leading to The Heart. Keri accepts, but the team also have far more pressing matters to worry about. Meanwhile, Evelyn Baxter is bent on taking over the country, and then destroying it.

Future
In a web chat online question and answering session on the BBC website, the question was asked "Will there be another series of mi high?" and Johnny Freeman answered saying "There won't be a new series this year."[126]
On Richard Senior (director) Twitter account he posted a message saying "That's the end - for now. It's finished in its current form. But the M.I.High project has been reborn before..."[127]
Oscar Jacques who portrays Tom Tupper also confirmed this in a tweet.[128]
