The tallest completed building in Miami, Florida is the Four Seasons Hotel Miami. The city is currently on a massive Manhattanization wave. The Empire World Towers which are planned to be built in 2010 would become the tallest buildings in the city if built. They are currently going through the approval process, and are expected to be twin towers rising 1,200 ft (366 m) each with 106 floors. These towers, if built, would be among the tallest in the United States. Another proposed supertall for the city is One Bayfront Plaza, an office tower expected to rise 1,180 ft (360 m) and 70 floors. It would become the third tallest building in the city. There are currently over 80 buildings over 500 feet (152 m) tall that are either built, under construction, approved, or proposed in the city. By 2010, Miami is expected to have one of largest skylines in the United States. If all currently proposed buildings are constructed, Miami would have the third largest skyline in the country (after New York City and Chicago).
