Liu Fuzhi (March 1917 – 25 August 2013) was a politician of the People's Republic of China. He served as the Procurator-General of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, Minister of Public Security and Minister of Justice.

Biography

Liu was born in Mei County, Guangdong province. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1938.

After the foundation of the People's Republic of China, Liu Fuzhi was the Minister of Public Security from 1983 to 1985, and the Procurator-General of the Supreme People's Procuratorate from 1988 to 1993.

Liu was a member of the 12th CPC Central Committee from 1982 to 1985,[1] and a member of the Central Advisory Commission from 1987 to 1992.

Liu died of an illness in August 2013 at the age of 96.[2][3]
