Luvungi is a village or small town in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, situated in eastern South Kivu province. It has a population of under 100.

In 2010, it was reported that mass rape had occurred in the village during the ongoing Kivu conflict, despite the presence of United Nations' MONUSCO peacekeepers nearby.[1][2]
