Lymm Baptist Church, Lymm, Warrington

Lymm Baptist Church is a Baptist Church situated in the village of Lymm near Warrington, England, located on the main A56 road.

Lymm Baptist Church is one of several churches whose main concern is to express the love of God through words and actions to all in the local neighbourhood.

The church is lively, friendly, informal outward-looking, with a congregation of some 200 people of all ages and backgrounds who have discovered that Jesus Christ is as relevant today as he was in the 1st Century AD and that knowing him makes a great difference to life.

Today the church building acts as a Worshipping Centre, Open Centre and Caring Centre for the local community.

The result has been an expanding of the vision to be a church with relevance to a growing and changing community. The church membership has grown over the last few years and the church remains committed to preaching the Word of God, worshipping the risen Jesus Christ and active engagement within the local community.

Current minister

The current minister is Rev Jonathan Bramwell who took up his charge in September 2015 having previously been the Minister at Epworth Baptist Church.

The previous minister, Rev Chris Newton, retired in April 2014 having been at Lymm Baptist Church since 1994.
