MBC Network News is the flagship national news broadcast of DZRH News Television. It airs in the Philippines on the cable news channel DZRH News Television with simulcast on TV Natin stations. It is aired every weekdays from 12 to 1 p.m. and 4 to 5 p.m. with news updates every top of the hour as MBC Network News: Live and Saturdays at 10:30 am as MBC Network News: Special Edition.
History
MBC Network News was launched in mid-2013 at the rebrand of RHTV to DZRH News Television with Samantha Nazario, Bea Oranga and Nino Padilla as hosts. They were later replaced with the current set of hosts.
The newscast initially aired on weekdays at 11 am and Saturdays at 10:30 am, both running a half-hour until June 16, 2017 when the weekday edition moved to the prime noon slot and expanded to an hour as a part of daytime revamps. However, the Saturday edition wasn't affected.
Initially, Vien Dacles doubled-duty as weather reporter until MBC outsourced weather forecasters from Panahon.TV.
